The Human Factory

The Human Factory

This new concept is combining a lot of work I have made so far on this blog but also my DA account combined. The topic looks at overpopulation in an industrial setting but looking at the effects it brings in communities, nations and civilizations. These are all the creations are made so far, more to come very soon peeps.

The sketch is a influence from Santiago Caruso that creates dark surrealism paintings. The way I have produced the drawing is to have three different perspective of having a large industrial landscape on the surface, mother-nature weeping as a tree and all life has to live underground because the surface is considered unsafe.

This is a very interesting drawing that only shows two different perspectives of a piece of landscape being changed. The way I have imagined it was one section to have long grass, trees and animals that mother-nature worked very hard on get's completely changed with the increase of the human population. It is good example of the theme however a few changes from only having mother-natures face in the clouds face palming without wearing gas mask or turn her into a mechanical tree.

The drawing is from piece called "The Industrial Fish" where I built a industrial landscape on a fish while it is still swimming in the sea. To change the concept I thought of a factory made out of skeleton head that has a mechanical brain attached to a factory. Which is pumping out skeletons of animals on a conveyor belt dropping underground creating an ocean of bones. To expand the design further I had an idea of having more structures with their own floating islands that is being held by large dead fish with cities on them.
